Paypal only letting me pay with attached bank or credit card
 

I went to buy another account on this and went to pay with paypal, paypal is about 90 days old and has $950 in it and $350 on 21 day hold, so a total of $1300. Went to pay for a back up account here and did not give me the option of paying with paypal balance for $80. WTF?

Often mentioned that newish accounts have issues trying to use a balance in Paypal

The people at Paypal do their Math differently from you.there may be a balance of $1300 that might clear and become yours. But while there is a hold you sadly have a much lower balance

So how long it takes before you can spend that Paypal money? (Not withdrawing, just spending)

lots of cookies help. some people say IP source can make a difference also.

also, any return requests or cases at all?

Is your pp account confirmed with a credit card? I did some research and found out that PP won't let you spend your money unless you give them your credit card or bank account information.

How did the seller try to have you pay? Did they invoice you?

Well there's your problem. Paypal doesn't like fee circumvention. New accounts always have problems with F&F payments.

Practical answer is to transfer to your bank and then pay with your bank account or credit card.

Got to agree the F&F route is the cause of a lot of problems for people.

Have them invoice you and pay via invoice, betting it will go right through.

Would have preferred that but the seller on here said to send it the other way? So that is what I did.

Really? Which one of the knowledgeable posters said you should send payments F&F? I'm curious...

Bank Account has nothing to do with it. I couldn't speak to an actual legitimate credit card but as for the accounts all of mine have a bank and I have the same issue. No matter what I try to buy I can't. However I can send $10 to a person once f& f btw

I recommend trying a different account seller next time. He/she is jeopardizing both of your accounts by having you pay for accounts with F&F payments.
