| That's what is says but I never trust them anymore. I had two recently go beyond the 180 days..asking for docks afterwards to add a bank. I had to use all my B.S. stories to get them to give it up which they did (180) days mind you...aholes. |

They state that if the account is not 'verified' then you will only be able to withdraw funds to your bank account. This implies the account has a bank account attached yet is NOT 'verified'. |

| Remember to be verified it's not just a bank. It's a CC + BANK, or BANK + SSN/EIN . All my accounts i make money on, have a combo of those. I just don't see all of a sudden people logging into their paypal and a pop up comes up and makes them answer questions, let's say they get the questions wrong and then they are asked to put in ssn etc.. As hercules said, sometimes they are a pain in the ass even after 180 days. Thank god my amazon suspension wasn't authenticity related..man i'd be FURIOUS with that much money gone.

who even makes their stealths without credit card verify, phone verify, email verify, bank confirmation. those are key elements to creating a new paypal account. Id imagine people who have done this should be fine and would be considered fully verified |

| I think people are reading too much into it. If they require some sort of docs to verify identity, they will be overwhelmed and it'd be a PR nightmare. You can't ask hundred million people for identity docs at once. Just created a new account today and nothing has changed since i did it 6 months ago |

No. It is not.
Yet again - the wording states that unless youre verified you can only pull the funds to your bank account which implies that you can have a bank account attached to the paypal and yet NOT be verified. |

Yeah I don’t think they’ll ask for documents. I was lucky to have an account with the updated terms. When you get a payment, you will receive an email saying “money is waiting for you” also, you will be given the option to withdraw to bank (I added a bank and withdrew just fine) I also sent another payment to the account and it still asks to claim the money. I was able to withdraw again no problem. I still haven’t verified the account and everything is fine.
Now, on my other account, i chose to verify it instead. They don’t mean to verify with a bank and credit card. They mean your social security, and date of birth. If they don’t match, then you will only be able to withdraw. I purposely entered false information. I called PayPal and they told me to submit a copy of my ssn and drivers license. Since this was false information, I pretty much killed the account, but I’m still able to withdraw.
I’m hoping this clarifies some things. I know I’m not the best at explaining things haha. |

| Intersting, makes me wonder on accounts with EIN's how does this affect those? Gonna keep withdrawing still, when does this go live? And so if this is the case, you know who's going to really be killed by this? Ebay. Unless they are allowed to automatically get funds anyway. Because, while you and i might have our reasons for not providing ssn/dob there is thousands and millions of people who don't want to do it, simply because they feel it's not safe to do it. THOSE people are going to have a fit, if what you mentioned is true. |

Been changes since you were active like these past days.
Keep in mind a paypal is verified by bank account plus releveant US if used. It also needs a CC/VCC to confirm.
Where bothare attached to account, paypal has a better degree of trust.

To me this PP thing may be no biggy but if you remember EB's message about Adyen there was a definite 'and some more verification' or something like that when describing what will come next. I don't think any of this sh*t will be a factor at all. Shrink the sellers and die slowly EB. Just think of all the newby's out there beyond your time here way in the future. Getting flagged out and never having the chance to come back? LOL |

| I have a few. I am still getting payments, and I never get that "claim your money" on them yet. I am trying to figure out why some people get it, and why others don't. Please note that PayPal also wrote in their tos update that money will be "generally available" if they can confirm. |
