US IBAN for paypal?
 

Hi everyone,

I know there are many new apps on the market, such as revolut etc

I was wondering do any of them give you a US IBAN thatcan be used to attach to US paypal to withdraw funds?

any help on withdrawing funds from a US pp would be very helpful

Banks in the US don't use IBAN's. International or domestic transfers come into US bank accounts using account/routing numbers.

In the USA, bank funds transfers are usually processed using a system called Automated Clearing House (ACH) which is operated by the US Federal Reserve (aka FEDWIRE). It's similar to the SEPA IBAN's your used to in the EU.

Unfortunately most of the online "banks" or these virtual payment handlers DO NOT work well with PayPal unless the account name matches.

Right now only brick & mortar banks with a physical presence can work with mis-matched ACH deposits.
