Paypal questions

I added a phone number and I dont have access to that phone number and now paypals asking me to verify that phone number befor I send money what can I do?

This happened to me too. I'm guessing it's the "quick security check" phone verification. If that's the case, the only way to bypass it is by changing your CNAM info for the phone number or to call into paypal directly.

Call paypal and they will manually override the security check. They didn't ask me any database questions, only info on the account.

I added a new phone number and it wont accept it then I called them and they said it will take 24 to 48 hours to change

It's stupid that PP checks the CNAM on the number as a way to determine if the number belong to you. This is simply because many carriers, esp. a few prepaid onces DO NOT provide the name with the phone number for their subscribers.

Nevertheless, there are a few services online (such as VoIP carriers) who will register the CNAM for your number for free, or for a small fee. The name can really be anything you want.

I called paypal and they told me my paypal account is fine I just need to use a diffent payment methed for my first trasnation then I could send money thats in my account? does this sound right? And would a visa giftcard work?
