Spending Paypal money - How much is too much?
 

I want to spend $400 at officemax,$400 at another online shop, and pay someone for services at $300.

If I spend that money today will that raise alarm bells?

Is it possible to purchase something a little less expensive for you first try?

I really don't know what to tell you, because I spend huge amounts out of mine... but it's very old, very trusted account.

Yeah I will spent $100 then. Is it ok to send to PO BOX or is a real address better?

I did it without problem with newer accounts. So 2 years old is very well.

It all depends on your account age, sales history, etc. However, you can spend those amounts, but don't do that at once, make some breaks between payments.

if 2 years old you can spend any amount no worries !

@taonola, slow down with questions.

1. What is status of your pp - verified? Confirmed? Ever done withdrawals or spending before?

2. Shipping address can be change - I have done so but I know my paypal accounts very well.

3. Has your paypal been used for sales? If so, how much? When was last sale?

have the same issue with PayPal Canada
payments I made seen as pending or waiting for authorization on the seller side.
the seller cant continue with the order till payment released

I've contacted PayPal Canada on the phone they said all ok with my account, maybe the problem is on the merchant account.

then later when I tried to make payments to 2 other merchants I'm getting the error - "sorry we cant complete your purchase at this time"

according to PayPal, their system sees my account as a security risk
so I need to cool off for 24 hr and to try again.

very strange.

Well, that seems like a lot of money going out, I"m sure that a few times you have gotten a phone call from your credit card confirming that you really tried to use your card for an expensive purchase?

Think about it that way.

Just make sure that when you do it, do it from your dedicated computer / user account / VPN... So all the info matches. If you don't have a good VPN, you can get it from ipburger. They have 52% off now
