Just had a chat with PP... new info
they def can link you thru phone numbers. that how she pulled up my info and to see what or how many accts were linked to me. make sure you se differant numbers everytime and take aspkins advice make EVERYTHING differant on every acct. unless of course you want to get linked. :o |

I have 3 paypal accounts and they're all linked together I'm sure. I don't try to hide with different ip addresses and cookies. I don't think Paypal cares unless you scam people. I have two business accounts and one regular account. No problem for 5+ years. EBay is a different story though. :) |

Okay (and let's be honest here or we don't really learn anything) what were you doing that got you booted at EB?
I'm not pointing the finger, because we all have tripped up (no matter how minor) at one point or another.
This place is kind of like how Australia started out (no offense to my Aussie friends) It was where Great Britain sent all of the criminals they didn't want. |

linked to suspended acct my friend logged on at my house nothing shady till eb and pp got shady with me then i got mad! lol |

I got eb suspended first and the following day PayPal got limited. I WAS NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG but had 3 claims in a month. Not sure if that was the reason.. I had 100% feedback on FEEBAY and always refund the money if I get complaints but I don't know what happend. Now I have a new ebay up and running of course ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and info but using my hubby's paypal which I 'm afraid if they will ever verify info. PayPal is real name and info but Ebay is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one... just nervous these days... I still have $1500 sitting in my paypal and have to wait 180days to get that money. I'm curious.. do they actually release money after 180days for sure?? I just can not trust them now.. |

Aspkin, my accounts are connected to different people and corporations. I have almost ten PP accounts.
You have three accounts. Are they all linked to one social security #? If so, what kind are they and how did you manage that? Because my impression with PP was that you could have only one business or premier, and then one personal, if they were all going back to the same social. 'Cause they always seem to ask for the social of the person who opened the account, even on a corporate account.
| Only one has my SS listed on it. My main Paypal account. Then I have a simple credit card only account, and then another business account without a SS#. |

Funny, mine was the other way around, PP got limited for risky activity which I have stated on other threads is crazy, but until that gets resolved I can't list on EB but they didn't pull my existing listings.
No claims, 100% FB on a 45 day old account, less than $100 sent and received combined, avg price of transaction about $15 and this is risky? |

EB account isn't completely down...auctions are still going and I can access everything, but can't list anything and haven't tried to bid.
So, no it's not down in the full sense, but it is of no use to me the way it is right now. |

You've gotton 3 claims in 1 month and you stated that you always refund the mony..So that sounds lke you aren't shipping the products out anyway or the products you sell has something wrong with them to make buyers complain??
But that would sound fishey to Paypal and you cant really get mad at Paypal for what they did. They are just tryng to protect their company from loss |

First of all I want to say that this is such a great site!
MY EBAY STORY
I have had 3 EB account suspended in the past 3 months.
Yeah, I cant beleive it either.Wish that i had come across this place sooner.
Anyway i recently opened up another EB account linking the old PP account (that was linked to the suspended account) to the new EB account but have changed the email address and have started selling, just days ago.
Would EB link the it together some how and supend me again?
oh aspkin would you be my mentor?

I think the best thing you can do is work WITH the system than against it. Link one account and receive payments at another. Of course, neither account should have been previously suspended. In this way, you still can use Paypal with ebay. It's just a little harder than it was.
Correct me if I'm wrong on this Modee, but if you're going to use Paypal at all, this would seem to me to be the best way of going about it. |
