CA PP account - what US banks?
 

Can't seem to get a CA PP account to take Bank of America (can't be added at this time yada yada). Anyone been able to add BoA just fine and/or use a different US bank on a CA PP account?

I've never been able to add a US bank even though they say you can. I've tried 3 times.

They're probably blocking US banks on purpose. Otherwise, everyone would use CA accounts for obvious reasons.

Might have some luck calling up PP for manual add - I haven't done it since 2013 though....I stick to CA banks for my CA accounts

Don't think you can add a US bank account to a Canadian paypal. Only Canadian Bank accounts will work.

Inside a CA Paypal account they will tell you that you can add either your USA or CA bank account, but they make it impossible to add anything other than a CA bank.

Obviously there are ways around though, because all of the CA accounts sold here used to be bundled with a USA VBA
