Potential Paypal Limitation

i have a brand new stealth account and have sold something on a forum. The Paypal has no affiliation with an EBay account.

I want to receive a payment of $400. The account is fully verified

will this sum of money result in a limitation?

If this is too much how much is a safe amount?

Will i be subject to the 21 day hold?

*payment would be sent via goods and services*

new accounts have holds almost always. dollar amount really depends on the item being sold and who sent the money and with what funding source.

$400 as your first payment on a fresh account will almost always trigger some type of limitation where Paypal asks for more information about you and your selling practices.

You will most likely have 21-day hold.

That amount is OKAY... but better is to separate the payments into two $200
