Creating a paypal account using initials
 

I have a paypal account with my full name (example Allen John Henry, name also on my ID), my question now is this, can I create another paypal account and use the initials of my first and middle name along with my surname

Allen John Henry = A.J Henry. Is this an acceptable practice? if paypal ask for verification and I submit my ID with my full name instead of A.J Henry, would the ID be accepted?

The problem is on your full ID they are still going to see your full name and DOB so that would just give it away

It would be ok, in terms of the name I think, as people go by their middle name and as long as it is somewhere on ID it is ok....

If they link you back to a banned account though, as james said, that is another matter..

What if the other account hasn't been banned yet, would PP allow multiple accounts?

Under the same details PayPal permits 2 accounts per users. 1 for business, 1 for personal. But you can consider the pair linked, given they'd be sharing so much information. You'll need a separate email address however (and PayPal state this in their terms).

But it would be a better practice to have a completely separate account, not linked in any way, so at least you know if one ever goes down, you won't be completely out of business.
