PayPal Permanently Limits Account
 

Out of the blue, I get an email telling me my PayPal account is toast. I apparently had items listed that violated the Acceptable Use policy. They claimed I was selling something counterfeit, which is impossible as I dropship directly from Amazon. I also apparently had some other products listed on Ebay that were non-compliant such as medical drugs (melatonin) and pepper spray.

I never got so much as a warning with Paypal and the suddenly I cannot use my account. How should I proceed? My Ebay account might as well be suspended too since I cannot just link a new Paypal account to it.

I do not see anything in the message about appealing the decision but am thinking about calling them. The main problem with that though is I am leery about them looking further into the situation and discovering other PayPal accounts I am using which could jeopardize my whole network.

Really unbelievable that Paypal can just pull the rug from under a business like that. It's a damning thought even if I can recover from this.

Calling them isn't going to do much good at this stage and the downside far outweighs any potential benefits.

I would just start 2 new accounts :)

If you have any money in the PP account just wait 180 days for it to be releases

Yeah it's too bad but this is going to prompt me to just be more aggressive. I have 5 Ebay accounts right now (4 after this), but I will ratchet it up to 10 now.

I have been creating legitimate PayPal accounts for businesses I started up. What should I enter for the personal information when I make the PayPal account? They ask for the SSN even with an EIN.
