Got a phone call....
I bought an iPhone from Swappa.com, I was on my tablet in a car on my way back home when i bought the phone. The purchase went through fine. I noticed a 402 area code number call ( I use a burner number by the way) I didn't answer. It left a voicemail but there was just sound no one talking (assuming its an automated machine) They called again a few hours later , this time i answered and didnt say anthing for a few seconds then said "hello?" nothing on the other end. The call then dropped. I called them back and said "phone call" in the prompts and put me on hold for over an hour , no one ever came to the line. I hung up, guess they were closed by then. Could it of been an automated call to verify the purchase? It was a $430 phone, nothing crazy. I was using cellular data when i bought it, This is a 4 year old business account with plenty of history / purchases/ sales. I just sold a $900 iPhone on Swappa and money is already in the account.
Just curious if anyone has ever had this happen. |
