EU Receiving Limit?

hey, so i know the receiving limit is 2.5keur

i received like £1.5k and paypal wanted information, so what is the limit i can hit before they come asking?
is it an exact amount or randomly near 2.5keur?

They start to request documents at £1650.

The account will become limited when you hit 2500 euro (around £2100).

alright thanks, ill stop around £1400 then
