Paypal is asking for bank account to verify.
 

Hi All,

I had VCC and bank account linked to my 2-year-old verified U.S. paypal account. But after I accidentally deleted my bank account Paypal turned unverified...

Paypal is asking for NEW bank account to verify despite VCC being still linked to account. It's a PP under stealth name so how can I verify now?

You need to add a bank to verify it. You should be able to add the same bank account that you accidentally deleted.

Just to clarify is it a US PayPal as mentioned in your post, or a UK PayPal (I presume you're in the UK)?

@Hallow and mrbitty, you will just need to add a new bank account and reverify (as Play stated)

For Hallow, US bank is needed.

For mrbitty, if UK pp is being used, UK bank is needed.

Is there any bank account that's easy to purchase just for PP verify purpose, or do I have to actually get a U.S. bank account which is not an easy thing to do from outside the U.S.?

Might be worth reaching out to US account sellers in the marketplace to see if they can help with bank account for verification.

If you go outside the forum and google, such a verification phenomenon does exist....

Would a US VBA work for verification of a US stealth account in place of an actual real US bank ?

VBA are pretty high risk to sellers right now. Hard to find anywhere hence rsot suggested searching OFF this forum for one. Non are available in this forum or most other forums.

I understand this recent update, so im searching for alternative way to verify bank account, like prepaid card, as i'm not physically in USA it would not be possible to get a U.S. bank account easily.

Go to HSBC and ask about opening a US bank account

Using a real bank account is the only option at the moment

For real prepaid cards or real US bank accounts, you would need a trip to the USA or have people with US access perhaps you...or get a US bank account with HSBC (they can do it for ppl in UK) but they tend to have a high deposit-minimum requirement.

You are right in your earlier statement about googling for Virtual banks - yankee explained why they are not provided here

For real US bank - I do have friends in the U.S. that can help me out, but I thought U.S. banks always require the account applicant to be there physically for interview? Any exception?

For prepaid cards - these are the option that mentioned in the forum before, I think they only ask for ID usually instead of face to face interview. But I don't know if any of them still work for paypal verification.

Not sure why you're looking at prepaid cards if what PayPal is asking for is a bank account?

Just so you know, these prepaids require Real Information and Real SSN. They will also require a valid Address for delivery. So you can't just open one in any name and it work.
