Cricket and stealth
 

So I bought 3 accounts on here with no access to the phone. Started using 2 of them but only added a bank account to 1. When I went to withdraw some money from that account PayPal wanted to text or call. No way I can do that. So I went and got a cricket phone and set up in the same name and same address and added it to PayPal. They texted me and verified no problem. Now when I go to withdraw the phone number isnt showing up and when I try to add the same number it says we couldn't verify it. When I look on my cricket account I can see the name but not the address. Is the address not updating for PayPal? Do I need to wait a few more days? Do I need to use another provider? I'm hoping to figure this out before wasting another bank account on the other one. Funny thing - I cant withdraw, send directly or buy anything off ebay with this account (prior to the number change) but i can buy with the other account with no bank lol Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

when you add a new phone number to paypal it will take at least 4 weeks to show up but usually a few months. Yes, a few months. Once that number shows up and the old one is gone, you can add a bank account etc...

Oh dear God. Is this a PayPal thing or a phone database thing?

been this way for years on paypal. That is why we always say to keep a number active.

Appreciate the responses. Will the same thing happen if I re-add the old number?
