Buying Things Using Bank Acc
 

Hey guys!

My question is: If you buy something online using a stealth PayPal account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name using your bank account as the payment method, will PayPal see your name on the bank account and then suspend you?

I'm pretty sure if you add money from your bank to PayPal Balance then they can see your name, but not sure about purchasing things.

The funds would be transferred in the same manner as if you added money to your Paypal balance from your bank account. The consensus on the forum is Paypal can probably see your real name when you add funds from your bank account. So I wouldn't recommend you purchase things using your bank account as the funding source.

Bank account > PayPal = They will see the name on the bank account

You're right, when you fund payments via bank, they will most certainly see the name on the bank, but they wont suspend you right away.

Should your account flag up for review, then they can do if they wish.

I'd advise selling stuff, and using the balance towards making a payment.

No, they wont' suspend you but as Play mentioned, next review they may limit your account and request more information. It doesn't always happen though.

It's not a good idea to add funds to Paypal. Load up a VCC and purchase with that.

I've done a few top ups from to PP from a bank account. The account wasn't limited but it well might be and I would avoid trying buying something with a bank account. Use it only for withdrawals

The only time it will pose an issue is if your account gets reviewed and they see the mismatch names.

I'd start running a few more accounts, just encase.

Hi to all,

I want to do the same the as the OP. I want to create a stealth paypal account for buying on ebay only, won't sell anything with it. Judging by all your answers using a bank account in any way will link me. Does this mean that paypal will close both accounts my original one and the stealth one?
