verify tax info
 

I had added my EIN 2 years ago but after a spike in sales last marchI received a notice that I needed to 'confirm' my ta information.
I tried adding my EIN again but its keeps asking for my 4 digits social.
what do I do? nothing that I try is working anymore.

Upgrade to a business account maybe?

I upgraded to business but it still ask for last 4 social , dob, address.

Put the last for the the SS. It has been this way for years now. The second request is new though. All my accounts have had it in the past month or so.

I realize useful information is not free. so as I am desperate, am willing to pay for any kind of help. please pm me. thanks

Yeah, been having this problem too. You need to go to 'settings', re-enter your EIN, and go back to the notice and do it there as well. This cleared it up for me.

So I did this but then got another screen asking to verify my address and type my (stealth) name verify that the statement that EIN number, my name, address, and business name are correct.

My EIN is of course in my name and using my address. I am wondering if agreeing to the statement is going to cause some additional problems because nothing on my EIN and my PayPal match.

I am dealing with this exact same issue, only I cannot find my TIN I received from the government back when I made my PP account... does anyone know how to have the number resent out to me?
