Paypal Requesting Social or EIN Number Ebay
 

Hi so my uncle is selling on ebay. He logged onto his paypal account and paypal has requested a EIN or Social number. He has 2 paypal account. One of the paypal accounts has his social number and now he does not know what to do for the other paypal account. He does have an EIN number but that was already used on another paypal account long time ago that was limited but he does not completely remember. What do you guys suggest on what he should for the ebay paypal account. Should he apply for a whole new ein number for a new business or should he put the social number again on the other account that is being requested? Thank you

are his two current accounts linked?

In not, he will need a new EIN or to leave the account until next year.
