Paypal linked our account to my brothers account in another city and is trying to...
 

charge him.

We were selling scooters and didnt realize at the time and before this forum was found that if you did 3 day items they watched them. Well we took payment shipped out the scooters and then had how much money in the account, they refunded all the money even though some scooters were shipped. Basically one guy got his money back and a scooter, the bill was 700.00, others were honest and payed via cc but one guy took it and ran. Plus since everything was blocked we couldnt do anything. This was last year in june/july.

The account was under my dads name which my brother is the same name but jr. He has nothing to do with anything, doesnt live near the address and all of a sudden today he goes to use the account and says he owes paypal 700.00 because of his account being linked to the suspended one. He lives 15plus miles away never had anything to do. How can we fix this? Also this account was suspended a year ago.

Also what is going to happen and how long will it take for him to get back on?

Were both accounts real with SS# and everything?

If so, you can tell PP to F themselves, file a report with the BBB (worked for some) and tell them PP is being a d*ck. Once you can prove the different SS# or through other real info that the 2 acct's aren't related, you might get lucky.

If they were NOT 100% real, I think you should just forget about it and start going stealth. Ebay doesn't care about good sellers, bad sellers, they just care about themselves and eventually you will be a victim...and sometimes, even your innocent family and friends.

what do you mean 3 days items?
did you ship the scooters ,is there any tracking showing it has been delivered ,if not,you lose.

I doubt your brother account is linked to your dad's account by name ONLy,THERE must be some other evidence which show these 2 accounts are related.
did he ever use his device to log into your dad'account or vice versa?
shipping scooter,if you ship with no nline viewable tracking (if 750 siganture is also required ),then when buyer said I did not get it,he will win.
