Hotel booking site canceled and refunded to my stealth Paypal
 

I was trying to book a hotel on Hotels.com using fully verified year-old stealth paypal account. Information registered on the booking site matches paypal's, but obviously i booked hotels for my real info.

Payment went through but 1 day later it was canceled and refunded. I tried 2 other booking sites and similar thing occurred.

Any suggestion on how to book trips using stealth paypal?

I've never booked via a third party website, but I've booked hotel rooms in my name and just left a footnote, or have called them directly, to let them know that another person would be checking in first. This person then uses their own credit card at check in. It's never been a problem. I've also checked in first to rooms booked in another person's name.

why not just use your real credit card info to book your hotels?

They are probably doing this as a way to "withdraw" the funds from their account.

I am rather surprised to hear such news. I thought that scheme of payment is good, but there is another confirmation there is nothing ideal in this world. By the way, I have been involved in a few situations as well. But they have returned my funds within two working days. The last time I have booked an apartment was successful. I visited an official site https://www.westgateresorts.com/hote...s/conventions/ and everything went well. I hope you won't face such problems there.

It could be the site cancelling your payment due to too much fraud from INAD ,how do they prove they have delivered the goods or services?

They also make unknown calls to confirm ,hotel. cm does

but if the customer files INR,how do they prove delivery of goods and services,it must be online viewable tracking number from a commercial carrier.
