Need help getting my money back from pp
 

Ok guys long story short.

I made a new pp with a f.a.k.e name (used different ip when logging in for this).

I transferred money from my real account to the f.a.k.e name one. (stupidly used my real ip that I always log in with)

I used the f.a.k.e one to buy something online for intangible goods.

There was a problem so I did a claim on them with the f.a.k.e account. I lost the claim. PP sided with them.

So can I get my money back if I tell my bank that it was an unauthorized transaction?

I don't care about losing the f.a.k.e name pp acc.

Any other advise appreciated.

Why did Paypal side with the seller? For them to side with the seller on an intangible item sale there must have been very strong evidence that the seller did nothing wrong.

I don't think it matters does it? pp sided with the seller so thats the end of that story.

So now if I was to tell my bank it was unauthorized will pp go after my f.a.k.e pp acc?

PayPal will do what they have to do to try to recover the funds. They can reverse transactions and limit both your PayPal accounts potentially

It was authorised though wasnt it? You don't want to commit fraud with your bank.

So, you did a bunch of dodgy stuff, and now you want to commit bank fraud? Seriously? What are you going to do when the bank shuts you down and flags your file on chexsystem for fraud?

You need to take your head off and screw it back on the right direction.

Just like how someone keeps using my card at the strip club every weekend while im home sleepin. Wells fargo aint buyin it tho lol. So I did a chargeback because she did not provide "said person" with a full hour of services as verbally agreed upon.

Details always matter - very tough to discuss generalized situations. It does sound like you are trying to hide something
