New Personal Paypal? Question
 

I use to own a personal paypal account back in 2012 when i was under age (18), and was therefore limited. However, I did not upload any of my legal documents, and can also not close the account anymore. Since then, I have used a stealth account (Succesfully for 3+ years) and would like to operate through a personal account.

Please note, that i have since then moved addresses and changed bank accounts (Never used with Paypal before).

Will i be able to create a new E-bay and Paypal personal account (Following proper procedures for not linking stealth accounts) without any issues?

I've heard that one first has to close the previous underaged ones before opening up another personal account. Otherwise, one may be limited after a few month or years.

Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated!

if the first one is toast and you never uploaded your information

go with an ebay/paypal stealth with your name but make sure the address is unique and never used before

you should be fine

If your old underage account didn't have your SSN in your PP account details, then you can make a new account with your new address and bank account and later add your SSN to Paypal to remove the 200/$20k annual receiving limit.

If you have your SSN on your old Paypal which was limited for being underage, you can still use your real name + new address and bank account. But you'll have to get an EIN and verify your account with the EIN instead of your SSN when the time comes. You could get a sole proprietor EIN which would allow you to leave the account in your own name. Or you could get an LLC EIN and upgrade the Paypal to a business LLC account.

Beautiful is right, but the part about SSN is very important. If you try putting your SSN on two Paypals they'll be linked and limited in no time.

Thank you for the responses! I used an EIN number before with my previous Stealth Account. I just wanted to ensure that nothing would be affected later on with the account.

I'll most likely be creating another stealth next to the personal one. In case, something happeneds (Virtual Box Multiple Machines + VPN).
