Does bank account address and paypal address have to match for Withdraw?
 

Just asking. Seems as if its a new policy. Does the bank account or eligible debit card address need to match with the paypal account address to be able to withdraw? Also called and was told by a rep that 1 of my withdraws was denied due to addresses not matching

If you're using the card withdrawal option then I would assume so since they use AVS.

Addresses don't need to match in order to use the traditional bank withdrawal option though.

As phaz0rz says the address only matters if youre adding your debit card in order to pass the AVS.
A withdrawal could not be denied for address mismatch afterwards since they do not check the address every time nor can they see the address of the bank account.

@slokor paypal sent the 2 deposits into my bank account for verification. They removed the bank account from paypal, Left me $0.20 cents from the deposits and reversed my withdraw. What do you think is going on? Should i reattach the bank account and withdraw again?

Something doesn't sound quite right. Usually for you to have added the bank account at all Paypal would have had to send two small deposits and pulled them back out in one transaction.

You're saying Paypal didn't retrieve the two micro-deposits but still allowed you to attempt a withdrawal which was later reversed? Perhaps the verification failed because Paypal wasn't able to retrieve the two micro deposits. I'm not understanding how you were able to attempt a transfer to your bank account before the bank account was fully added (verified) in Paypal.

Let's wait for slokor like you said - this is over my head. :shocked:

You can withdraw without verifying the bank account generally if you have another bank account or VBA. The reverse is probably something with your account.

The bank and paypal address do not need to match.

Hi my question is if i use a vcc do i put a made up name on the card il use the same name then on ebay also with my new bank account do i use my real name and paypal and ebay cant link me ?
