Will this help to avoid chargebacks?
 

Will this help if I receive a chargeback and then ask buyer to cancel the chargeback and I will send him money manually via Family and Friends? If not then with another PayPal account?

I need to lower my chargeback rate which is around 2% right now. Want to know if this will work?

I'm selling digital goods on Shopify.

This might end up linking both accounts and getting them suspended. Also, no buyer will cancel his chargeback as he automatically will get his buyer protection cancelled after that. You might try to offer them first to send them a refund from another account, and then cancel the chargeback from the main account, but I personally believe this will look too fishy for most of the buyers, and also, during a manual review you will have loads of issues. And even if chargebacks are closed, they are still there, I've lost MANY accounts that had 100% of cases resolved, buyers refunded, and non-negative balance.

They won’t cancel their chargeback and if they did agree to it they would want their money back befor they cancelled it and the. There is no guarantee that they will still actually cancel it

Ah right - missed on the digital goods part James - very true. Not much OP can do but spread sales and figure out some physical mail confirmation part
