Paypal keeps asking for debit/credit card
 

My account has been created a few days, I have added a successful visa / master card on the site of Paypal. But when I use it to pay: I choose payment by paypal => open new window asking for login => after login, it moved me to add a new visa / master card. And I can not add any cards, I tried a lot of different cards.

Does anyone have any guidelines for this error? Please help me. Thank you very much.

It's happened to me a couple times, no idea why, but an Amex GC I bought at the post office worked both times.

Can you say clearer? You have added the Amex GC in this window, it passes. Next purchases can you use other cards? Or is the window still open and you can only use Amex GC to purchase via paypal?

It doesn't have funds i think that's why want you to pay with another card

What I have began to notice is although PayPal will accept the VCC to lift the sending limits or verify the account, the card will not always be accepted when trying to send a payment. PayPal may still act like no card is attached even though one is. I've noticed this more recently, mainly on freshly created accounts.

PayPal seems to be tighting up the security in regards to sending money out of the account. I speculate this might have something to do with the TOS update a few months back.

well with a VCC it only has enough to cover the verification.
And if you're set up to withdraw money from the VCC it'll trigger asking you for a different source of payment.

When I went to attach my PayPal to Ebay to sell that window popped up. I had already given them one card but it wouldn't work for fees so I went to the Post Office and bought an American Express GC and used that info (after I went in and made the Amex "my" card on their site and it accepted it. As for actually paying for items, I only use ebay gift cards because they can be had at discount prices.

not allowed to use balance in first time u should work out using your card in first few transaction
