eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - Signing into to Paypal problems

Hi, does anyone have any answers on signing into PayPal for the first time on new VM and VPN IP... it won't let me sign in or pay for parcels, there must be a security issue signing in from a new laptop and VM ... the password and user is correct.
We get a pop up saying: "We're sorry we can't log you in. If you think there is a problem please contact us"

Yes this is the general problem because of IP change and some detected IP address

Did you make the account yourself or buy it? If you bought it, there's always a possibility someone else has changed your login credentials.

I don't believe it's an IP issue. Usually if there's an issue with IP you can login, then they want you to go through "security measures".

First thing to try would be to reset the PayPal password just incase the password you have is incorrect

I tried that and it said like in the photo.
I have 2 VMS ... 1st one is signed into a new stealth account... no problem.. and this one it's only PayPal that's having the problem ... is it something to do with my VM maybe insecure network?

It's the very first time you've signed in? Did you create the account on the same VPN IP?

I haven't seen anything like that before. I guess it could be an IP issue. Good, 100% clean IP's are getting harder and harder to find these days and it's not VPN companies fault.

Its a weird one for sure.

Its not going to be down to the VM itself though. A VM is just like an OS.

It could be down to the IP your using though. Really need more information to give a better answer. How was the account made? How long ago? Was it made on this IP? Was the account bought etc

From the message in that screenshot it looks like PayPal stopping you from logging in due to security concerns, so you need to what out what is causing that.

There have been a few issues signing into Paypal this week.

One account of mine forgot the password, even though cookies have always been in place.

On another account that I have not signed into for a long time - with no cookies, a security request appeared. Never seen this before.

A combination of IP address, no cookies and Paypal Security updates I think.

paypal put some new security stuff in place............................................. ....when paypal receives 1 complaint or 2 complaints of the same reason they have a dedicated team literally do whatever it takes to make sure it never happens again. been like this for many many years now......
