Paypal error message
 

Hey everyone, Im getting an error message on my paypal every time i try and send money between my accounts no matter how little the amount is, it says ' We're sorry, we weren't able to complete your payment right now. Please try again later.'

Is there any way around this? My account is not limited and i cant understand why this is happening all of a sudden.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Sending money between accouts leads to issues. This is one of them.
PayPal saw the pattern and now the account has a glowing red flag on it.

I guess you need to call in and try to fix it but they will ask questions.

This seems be becoming more common again recently.

I used to get around it by sending small amounts and just keep persisting until it goes through.

Well, since PayPal acquired "Simility" few month ago they start to use this company Fraud Prevention Solution . very nasty and complex artificial intelligence Solution . you gonna see a lot of this error from now on .

Sending money between your accounts is not a long term solution. If your accounts are not limited yet, stop doing that to avoid the limitation.

Nothing to do with red flags. There are many scenarios in which it happens, and it depends on how you are operating the account.

If it's a new account for example, and you receive 100 euro, you then try and send that 100 euro to someone an hour later, then very likely you will get the message

Paypal are trying to slow you down and reduce risk

Eventually it will let you send, I try once a day, then after 72 hours almost always works
