i got this message recently in my italy stealth paypal

You have received 1,800 EUR or equivalent in total payments to your PayPal account.

To comply with regulations, we are required to collect and verify information about our customers. As you are approaching the level of activity where we may have to limit your account capability, we encourage you to provide this information now. In doing so, you will still be able to use your PayPal account to send or withdraw money as normal.

Here's how to provide the information we need:
Log in to your PayPal account.
Click Notifications (bell icon) at the top right of the page.
Follow the instructions and complete all the tasks.




account is working fine i just want to know how much time i have till they limit the account further ?

Well all you need is provide 2 documents:
1) photo id
2) utility bill
This details must be same with your paypal account details.

Due to AML (Anti money laundering) regulations in Europe, you can't receive more than 2500 EUR on PayPal without the KYC (Know you client) verification, which means you need to provide a copy of ID/DL/Passport + Proof of address, documents provided should match details on the PayPal account.

PayPal usually sends an alert once you reach 1800 EUR letting you know that you're close to reach the limit, and asking you provide documents before reaching the limit, otherwise (If you didn't send docs) once your account reach 2500 EUR in total received transactions, your account will be limited and any balance on it will be stuck, until you provide them with required docs.

Now, that's right your account is still normal, but if you want to receive more than 2500 EUR consider sending documents.

Note: Before sending documents make sure to withdraw 80-90% of your balance, in case they didn't approve your documents.

As Othmane said and it's not only happening in Europe, in America too. Any paypal account that you make, you won't be able to receive more than 2500 dollars or euros, depending on your main currency, till you verify it.
