Team4 | 10-14-2018 04:54 PM | Llc I am trying to make an LLC and I'd like to know if I can just pick one state? even I live in FL? |
phaz0rz | 10-15-2018 06:16 AM | Re: Llc Yeah, you can make one where ever. I think all you need is an address - like a UPS store box. |
nickopedia | 10-15-2018 06:36 AM | Re: Llc Go to your states Secretary of State website and read the requirements for setting up a Corp or LLC. At the minimum you are going to need an address/phone presence in the state, which is easy to get, but also an EIN from the IRS and your articles of incorporation setup. |
phaz0rz | 10-15-2018 07:14 AM | Re: Llc Note that if you're going to use one of the "preferential" states like DE or NV and those states are far from you, you should probably look into using a registered agent in the state you choose to manage the LLC paperwork for you. |
nickopedia | 10-15-2018 08:08 AM | Re: Llc ^^ I second what Phaz0rz says.
If you want to incorporate in a preferred state such as NV, DE, or WY, use a Registered Agent (RA) who can set everything up for you, for a fee of course.
Of these, Nevada is my personal favorite due to the low cost and ease of setup and maintaining the entity, as well as tax benefits. |
Team4 | 10-15-2018 08:09 AM | Re: Llc It is easier just to get in Florida? do I still need UPS or PO box? I am looking way to process non complicated. Thank you |
phaz0rz | 10-15-2018 08:13 AM | Re: Llc Yeah, naturally it's going to be easiest to use your home state. Lots of bigger companies choose to go with one of the states without a state income tax which is why I mentioned those other states.
I always used my home state.. but I always wish I hadn't at tax time. |

SaiJin | 10-15-2018 07:58 PM | Re: Llc You should probably call each state and figure out how much they cost.
I know NY is about $500 |
Team4 | 10-15-2018 08:06 PM | Re: Llc I need open EIN first them LLC? When I open EIN and add all information will be real one right? |

@the other poster - you can look up the cost by state online. |
Team4 | 10-16-2018 06:54 AM | Re: Llc I am trying to open EIN now and it asking for Legal name of LLC witch I do not have yet. If anyone knows how do I do this |
phaz0rz | 10-16-2018 07:01 AM | Re: Llc This is the part where you make up the name of your LLC.
Then when you register your LLC with a state, make sure you use exactly the same LLC name. |
Team4 | 10-16-2018 03:56 PM | EIN and LLC I need specialist for EIN and LLC to sign up. Is anyone here knows for that? |
phaz0rz | 10-16-2018 04:34 PM | Re: Llc Just use legalzoom if you can't figure it out yourself. They're reliable, efficient, and reasonably cheap. |
Team4 | 10-18-2018 11:07 AM | Re: LLC AM I setting up virtual box for LLC, do I supposed to do this before open LLC and EIN? virtual address will be my business name? Thank you |
phaz0rz | 10-18-2018 11:45 AM | Re: Llc If you're going to be using a forwarding address or a service like that, it would probably be best to have it setup and ready to go before you start with your business filings. |
flyriver | 10-18-2018 11:50 AM | Re: Llc I believe you will also have to file taxes in the state where it is registered. Which means you will have to have an accountant either in that state or familiar with the tax laws in that state. |

Team4 | 10-18-2018 12:05 PM | Re: Llc Whatever easiest way works for me. This whole things confuses me, LLC, EIN and tax.... Thank you |
phaz0rz | 10-18-2018 12:08 PM | Re: Llc It's intimidating for sure, but in reality it's not too bad. You can do it, lol. When you first joined I assumed you already had at least one LLC because you sounded big-time. :D |
