Paypal State Tax Requirement Message
 

I have steal PP accounts in VT where the state tax requirement is only 600 and Paypal start sending the message that I may need to add my tax ID as the state level. What happened next if I do nothing? Will be limitation comes next. Anyone in MA or VT should receive this same message as Paypal just sent it out a few days ago. Any advises would be greatly appreciated.

I have a MA account that's been saying the same thing since last year. Still receives and withdraws about $200 weekly. Gets limited at $20k then resets next year like any other state's account.

Doesn't really answer your questions but that's my experience.

So you never got limited on that MA account. I know starting 2017. But never see that nofication last year but a couple day ago it popped up in the notification message when I logged into the Paypal account

You probably passed a certain threshold and that made it show for you. I've had the notification since the end of last year (maybe beginning of this year - that would make more sense). It will get limited at the normal 200 or $20,000 but the state regulations haven't caused a limitation yet, for me and my MA account.
