Anyone having issues with PayPal deposits to metabank through RushCard?
 

Has anyone had their PayPal deposit held up by metabank through RushCard? I was told by RushCard that they are having a system issue with metabank and my PayPal deposit has been completed for 4 days. Still it’s never made it to RushCard.
I wanted to know if anyone’s successfully got one today?

Metabank has always been known to be problematic with PayPal.

I would wait a few days and if the money still isn't there by then, give Rushcard a call to inquire.

Almost all of those bank accounts you get by purchasing a card at Walmart have been blacklisted by Paypal. There are dozens of threads here posted by users who have said they tried and failed with Metabank - primarily due to mismatching names.

Green Dot bank, Metabank, Amex Centurion Bank - all of those cause problems

Found this thread on Google saying Metabank may or may not work as long as the names on Metabank and Paypal are the same : https://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal...nt-paypal.html

Do your names match or are you trying to do this with mismatching names?

These so called "banks" that are based on a debit card like Green Dot/Metabank are not good for stealth purposes. Some people use them to verify their PayPals with, but it's been my personal experience such accounts associated with these online "banks" are going to lead to issues.

Best to use a REAL bank- one with PHYSICAL BRANCHES you can walk into and visit. If not it's likely not good for using with PayPal stealth.

Rushcard... I haven't heard of that name for a very long time.
They tend to be problematic as most people in here say.

If you can, try adding a bank account to the account and use that method instead.

And if this is a brand new account, I see no loss as to starting over again just to save time.
