Googlevoice fooken with me
 

im noticing with brand new gmails when you try to create a google voice number along with it, it will NOT work.

it will let you go through the process but at the end of it the number IS NOT THERE :doh:

Any1 else experiencing this??????????

I haven't tried adding a new GV to an existing account. I ususally buy them in bulk from other sources, already fully verified.

What I do see once in awhile is Google will bring up some security check asking to verify the recovery phone#/email. Even when the correct recovery info in put in, it brings up another window asking to put in a phone # to send a verification code saying something about "Unusual Activity". I've been seeing this more often now and have lost a few of my GV accounts because of it. Seems Google is cracking down on these.

What phone number are you using to verify the google voice account? might have something to do with that.
I created 10 new Gmail/GV accounts yesterday and didn't notice anything unusual.

WHAT!?!!?!?!? ive used everything tmobile verizon att etc... wow now im even more disturbed!!! i must figure this out!!!

They patched something with these numbers. Goggle voice and various free phone numbers seem not to work anymore, STARTED JUST YESTERDAY NIGHT WHILE I WAS WORKING

Hmmm? The issues I was having with this "Unusual Activity" message that would pop up and wouldn't allow me to login.

The OP appears to be having a different issue. He says when he tries to add a new google voice number to an existing account, it doesn't show up.

I haven't created any new GV in the last few days, so can't confirm this, yet.

Anyone else?

i knew it couldnt just be me!!!!! all new gmail accounts the google voice will NOT work for some reason... ive tried almost everything to try n pinpoint the issue but nothing works... very annoying...:juggle:
