Paypal Blue Box of Death
 

when you wake up and check on a few paypals with no ssns, and have paypal balances ranging from 30-40-50-60 in each and you cannot withdraw it because you can't add a bank account because you dont have access to the original phone number on the account,

when you can't send it to another paypal account because of this claim it bs.....

can't withdraw a check because they will do a phone verification.......so what do we do.......?

I call it the blue box of death, this is similar to a permanent limitation if you think about it.....it renders the paypal account completely useless.......

that excuse does not work for 500+ paypal accounts....

calling into paypal is completely useless......all I hear while on hold is.........

be aware of the BAD GUYS........so we can stop the BAD GUYS.......

clearly their is really no way to play with these people.

couldve wouldve shouldve......whats done is done......everybody makes mistakes.......I learned and moved forward from it........now I am looking for solutions for these blue box accounts.....

If you don't want to keep an active number on file, you take a risk, and you deal with the consequences as and when they arise. It's as clear cut as that.

trust me folks.........lets just say the stack of pp accounts i have on hand were never self created to begin with...........

if i were to self create these accounts at the moment the blue box problem.......would not exist for me......i have about 2 different ways to prevent it from occurring......on creation that is........

That's the issue. The solution to overcome this is non-existent.

Its a security protocol. To override it you'll need to call in. Its unlikely to work in your favour given its a stealth account and you dont have the original number to hand. So you'll be running around in circles.

I've had it happen to my genuine PayPal - even then it took months for me to regain access.

We're not being mean, we've all been there and know how it works.

I still don't understand what you could possibly need that many accounts for. You'll probably have to write off that $40-60 x 500 as a loss.

we all have our secrets. their are many accounts that do not have the blue box yet........I have a method to prevent it from showing up.....It will take me a few days to go through all of my accounts........

I have shared many of my solutions..........like when I was in bed with 2 women at the same time......that solved my stress problems.....

how the hell am I suppose to predict the paypal judgement day........i read somewhere on the forum a few months ago that accounts made many years ago would be spared and would get grandfathered in and would not get the claim it bs.........guess things can change in an instant....

Can you not log in and put a google voice number in the accts, then come back in 60 days and take care of? I DID IT TWICE BEFORE I LEARNED, BUT ADDING gv WORKED.
