Adding bank w/instant verify mistake- now only option is 2 deposits. Temporary?
 

I was adding a bank to my pp, and while typing in the info for the instant verify bank log in I made a mistake (used the wrong password twice) and then it switched to only offering the 2 small deposits option... now each time I try to add the bank (once again a few hours later) it goes straight to the "2 small deposits" version.

Do you think it's 2 small deposits option only from now on, or is it likely the instant verify option will return after a day or two?

I can't say for sure. But why not use the micro deposits and go ahead and add the bank? If you keep trying and failing you're likely to trigger tightened security on your account.

I just went through this last weekend. Once they sent the deposits and I went back to verify them, the page gave me the option to verify instantly again and I did it that way. I didn't even have to put in the small deposits.

Why not just enter the deposit amounts if you'd already gone through that?

You'd rather give whatever 3rd party Paypal users for instant verify your online banking credentials?
