paypal instant transfer still pending
 

anyone have any issues with instant transfer this week? on the 10th i transferred to my debit card like i normally do i got a 24 hour message which i get from time to time but now its been 72 hours and still hasn't transferred already tried calling paypal they gave me some bogus excuse of there was an error on their end for transfers on that day and to expect it by end of day only problem is i called yesterday and they told me the same thing and it still didn't show up

it wasnt an ach transfer it was a debit card instant transfer i transfer every other day and its there within minutes or if they give you a 24 hour message its there 24 hours to the minute of sending the transfer

Try doing another small card withdrawal and see if it goes through.

Hmm. The ones on my legit PayPal still go through within minutes.

Not really from my experience - I have had withdrawals to TD going through in the same day (by end of day) but not instantaneous.

I submitted a debit card transfer on the 10th as well and it said it would take 72 hours but it has now been 73 hours and still nothing.

well it finally bounced back to my paypal the error says denied paypal told me it was an error around that time on their end with instant transfers not sure how true that is so i resubmitted it and it took about 2 minutes to get into my account this morning

May have been an issue with whoever is processing PP's "push" card transactions.

Thanks for the update. Mine is still pending been about 79 hours. I'm very annoyed.

You'll probably have to wait for it to bounce back to your PP and then re-do the withdrawal if it happens for you how it did with OP.

Mine got denied so I resubmitted it and I have to wait 72 hours ago. Another transfer on a different PP account got denied too today. I didn't even try to resubmit that one. Called Greendot and they said the issue is not on their end but Paypal insists that it is Greendot's fault. I don't really know what to do at this point, do you have any advice? Thanks.

ive never tried using a prepaid card for instant transfers only bank debit cards i wasnt aware it would work with those types of cards i itried another send today actually and it gave a 72 hour notice

Some prepaid cards work but not all. I don't think the cards are the problem in this situation though.

You've been using Green Dot cards for mismatched card withdrawals, and it was working before a few days ago?

Everyone always says Green Dot isn't ok with mismatched deposits

Yep, green dot is one of the worst cards to use.
I have not heard anything else but trouble using them.

I can confirm that NetSpend works, but NOT for mismatching names. There also seems to be a limit of $1k per transfer.

Stay away from Greendot or any Walmart moneycard product. They can really only be used to verify the PP, but not good for much else.
