Transfer Denied?
 

On two of my Paypal accounts today money I tried to transfer to BoA over the weekend was returned to my account. Message was "Transfer Denied". Is this an issue with BoA or with my Paypal account? Both accounts are not limited. Should I open a new bank and use it?

by chance did you transfer around the 10th?

Does it give you any details when you click on the failed transfer?

A lot of people would be in trouble if BoA isn't accepting mismatched transfers anymore. Usually though when a bank rejects the transfer Paypal will remove the bank account from your PP wallet.

EDIT: There's been a ton of issues here in the past couple of days RE withdrawals of both types. I'm worried there may be changes coming. :/

Yes! Both transfers initiated on 10th. They were transfers to my bank not instant transfer though (saw your other post).

No details - it just says Transfer Denied.

Just called Paypal and they said "their security protocol" pushed back on the withdrawal bc it deemed it a "little" risky and he advises me to try again since it's been a couple days or use a different funding source like the debit card.

Looks like Paypal is changing security measures again.

I called in about my issue and they told me the same exact thing. Then when I spoke with a different representative who admitted that it was an issue with Paypal's system. Someone else on the forum transferred money on the 10th and got denied, then transferred it again and it went through in just a couple minutes. I think Paypal just doesn't want to admit that they made a mistake.

I initated the transfer on Nov 9 came back on Nov 14 said denied. Nothing to do with the bank as it is still pending transfer never completed. Once it completd. It will up to the bank to accept or deny it. I tried the transfer again last night it it said it would delay for 12hrs. 12hrs has passed and the transfer is still pending. Something is up with Paypal. Anyone have any idea. I don't want to call Paypal as they always ask you to try again

I'm transferring on daily basis and it's going fine for me.

Ok I have several account but only one got this problem even account with 72 hours delay went through fine but only happy to this particular account and it is not the new account either. I has been doing transfer 5-7 times already

The transfer went fine on the second attempt afte it denied and it went through so there is must a problem between Nov 9 and Nov 13 as someone mentioned.

yep mine failed on the 10th so there was definitely an issue with their processing on those dates

Tons of ppl affected - thankfully it was temporary
