Any one tried adding one of these to PP recently? (bank account only)

I kept getting the "sorry we can't add your bank right now" message so i left it for a week

tried a different browser and still same message

contacted paypal they told me it's issue with bank
contacted bank they told me issue with paypal as there has been no attempt to add your account to the bank account

Both are around a month old and are fresh ( no history ) apart from funds sitting in available PP balance and verified card attached. Running on fresh OS install and Fresh UK IP with 2 weeks worth of cookies.

Also PP is a verified business account with ID etc as i had to upload it early

Not recently. Although, there should be no problem adding a Tesco account. However, I recall people having issues with Tesco closing bank accounts as they don't allow their accounts to be used for business. Multiple PayPal payments indicates to them that you are running a business.

Plenty of other options.

Did you phone PayPal or emailed them? You will have more success actually phoning them. You actually might be successful with the automatic service trying to add it for you before getting forwarded to a rep.

hmmm maybe but nothing has gone in there since i cant link it..

yeah, spoke to three different people and also tried adding with the automated service a few time. no luck

Apparently i failed a verification with paypal

i was asked a question that was supplied by a uk credit check company

the question was not a secret question but random from this place

still after i told them that the question did not match my history they pushed it through ok and tried to add the bank for me but again it failed..

Sounds like the paypal account itself is compromised

Do you have another PP and a new bank account you can try adding to>?
If that other account works , then this means this paypal acc must be flagged some how.

hope not, only got this account a few weeks back from a seller here!
and done nothing i shouldnt be doing

also paid and supplied all the docs for verification and all was confirmed by paypal

Stop spouting rubbish.

These types of error are not uncommon on Paypal when trying to add a bank account. Most of the reps themselves do not know what causes the error.

One time I had the same error. I realised I had already used that bank account for another PayPal years before.

If all else fail, try opening another Tesco savings account. It is instant so you'd know if the trouble is with a recycled bank account or PayPal. Tesco accounts work well for me so far.
