How to use the money in paypal usd ?
 

I am from Canada.
My paypal account has some USD.
The bank account attached to the paypal is canadian bank account in CAD.
If I let paypal to transfer the usd to my Canadian bank, paypal takes a big cut on the currency exchange.
I don't want to attach a USD bank account to this paypal.

What are some good methods to cash out these paypal usd dollars?
What marketing / ip / proxy / software sevice take paypal?

You can pay your eBay fees with it and they'll automatically convert. PP's rate as of this morning was 1USD to 1.3CAD.

Speaking of paying ebay fees with it, have you noticed they some times give you a hard time to do that also?

Honestly I haven't, so I guess I'm fortunate. On the CA accounts I'm selling on fees are paid either every day, or every other day via PP balance. Once or twice I've seen that weird "this payment exceeds payment limits on your account" message when trying to pay fees. But I'm just as likely to get that on a USA account.

FWIW I receive all USD and pay all fees in CAD which PP converts.

If the USD is in my own bank account, I can convert it at very close to the mid rate 1.35 so i feel 1.3 is really low.
The problem is that after paying all the fees, there are still some left over.

I used to let paypal converts but their rate is really low.
You can call paypal/ ebay and ask them to change the billing currency to usd so you pay fees in usd.

ipburger takes paypal, almost every good vpn provider takes paypal.
you can also buy vps, hosting, domains.
or transfer it to a friend and cashout?

I'd rather not draw attention to my accounts. I don't really mind paying in CAD since fees are the same either way.

In response to your other post, keep the USD in your PP and use it next time. Maybe withdraw most of your CAD before you pay fees next time so Paypal will be forced to use the USD first.

Have you tried it with an account you just created say 30 days ago?

I haven't, so I assume whatever problem you're experiencing is likely a newish account issue. I haven't started any new accounts in 10mo's or so.

I thought you can just have multiple currencies in your paypal and when you transfer to your bank it automatically converts to your bank's currency?

You can. Or you can spend the multiple currencies and avoid Paypal's high conversion fee.

As phaz alludeed, pp's automatic conversion is there but the ratio is horrible and must be avoided.
