Chime Bank for Paypal stealth
 

Alright so i use Chase personally on my main paypal account that isn't banned and it works perfectly. Im a little hesitant to try Chime, but anyway i made a new stealth and i am going to use Chime as the bank account. Does anyone have any idea if this bank is good? so far their customer support is worlds better, I dont have to call to activate the debit card or anything and they have a quick chat system for support.

Has anyone used them for stealth purposes in the past?

Never even heard of them to be honest.

Actually scratch what I said above.
Looks like someone already tried that bank and it is no good for stealth.

Chime bank is just like Metabank, Walmart, Greendot, etc.

These online/virtual banks are all BAD for stealth.

If you want use it for stealth it’s useless they will return the money for mismatch name

They USE to be good, now all names must match with those prepaids.

Just wanted to update-


I linked chime to a stealth ACC and i just direct deposited 1000 dollars to the Chime account with no issues. However i use stealth within my state so i believe that has somethin to do with it.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE THE SAME STATE WITH STEALTH AND THESE BANK ACCs

I still would recommend the chase accs way better

but for a personal debit card, Im gonna be honest i am a millennial but damn the chime app is just so ****ing good, Excuse my language. The app is flawless and opens in 3 seconds unlike chase's crummy app. Its a great virtual bank acc if you just need a debit card. Highly recommended

So I don't know what you know about similar ones like "ACCOUNTNOW", "READYDEBIT", AND many more were all the same as Chime....eventually people would get a shock when the deposit was accepted...but would NOT be able to withdraw the funds.

It's all a matter of time.

I agree with MM.

People always come on here shouting from the rooftops how excellently their "prepaid/card in the mail" bank account is working for stealth. At first. Then a couple weeks or months later they come back on posting about how their prepaid bank is now rejecting all deposits and asking for proof of the funds in order to get any money in the prepaid bank released. Those kinds of bank accounts are a fraud-rich industry so the security integrated into them red flags stuff like recurring mismatched deposits.

I seriously doubt the state of your stealth account makes any difference since that's not part of the information transmitted to your bank as part of an ACH deposit. Unless you're working with a super-small local bank that only has branches in your area.

I'm a millennial too but we are perfectly capable of walking into a "real bank" with $200 and opening a savings/checking account. The Wells Fargo app is 2nd to none and Wells Fargo loves it when you ask for more checking accounts.

I like to take the angle where people would come here and share that they are trying something new and they are excited about it.

So I think this is great and we should welcome it.

I just wanted to point out some of the potential drawbacks of this particular groundbreaking discovery. History repeats itself. Especially with prepaid bank accounts. There are dozens of threads already on the forum where prepaid bank users started having serious banking issues very early on in the life of their stealth account.

I wasn't trying to just be pessimistic - I wanted to maybe save someone the trouble in the future.

That's a good stand to have as well. I guess with you and me from opposite angles balances things out.

I just want to be a little more open to it just in case someone finds a gem unexpectedly you know.
