Business account issue
 

Hello guys. Happy New Year to everyone. Wish you all tons of $ this year and zero problems.

I have stealth account for few years now. Few months ago upgraded to business. Since that every few weeks I am trying to add another bank account (business checking instead of personal saving). But every time PP is asking to verify with text. I was hopping it will go away in time but it never happened. Don't have this phone number for years.
And I don't have same issue with my other business accounts.

The only options I am thinking about is get a phone number, add it, age it, get text

Any ideas how to do it right away

If you are confident, you can try calling in and try to get a competent person to add the new number for you, as they'll ask all kinds of personal question to verify the account is yours.

I think I understand your question. Are you asking how to get a phone call instead of a text message to verify the PIN when adding a bank? If so, then you need to change the phone number from a mobile to a work number. If you have mobile selected, Paypal will want to text you instead of call.

In my opinion, adding a new # yourself and waiting for it to show up as a verification option is your only safe option.

Just get a phone strictly for business. Age it for a few months, and then update the number. Relieves a lot of headaches and can be used for your eCommerce sites as well. Tax write off anyways.

I think OP is anxious to get this resolved right away. I can understand the position of uncertainty.

But yes, do keep us in the loop.
