When I try to add a bank account to my PP account that I've had for years and never had an issue with I get the error message "Sorry we cant confirm that its you" Anyone know how to get around this?

BTW- this account isn't under temp suspension or anything like that and never has been.

I think your phone number could play a part... do you have a verified phone number attached?

I thought the same thing at first but it's been the same number that's been on there forever. I have thought about changing the number though and trying again. When I try to add my bank it comes up with a screen that has Paypal call my number on the account to verify a PIN. When I try to add a bank to this account, however, this screen doesn't come up and instead it says sorry we couldn't confirm it's you. I'm going to change the number and then try again in 2 weeks to see if it will let me add it.

Same issue here with some old usa paypal.

I try with some weeks later,still same issue.

Any one has solution of it?

Sometimes we need usa paypals to sell on ebay for local products.

yes bro there are some tips that how to use paypal.
never change your devise .
use same browser and try after 3 days again.
if need any help just inbox me

Fifth third- but it doesn't seem like a bank issue as I've added this same bank but different accounts to other accounts with no problem. Waiting for the new number to age on the account before trying again. Anyone know how long that takes?

No, calling into Paypal for me would be a last resort. Hoping that I can solve this with some patience after I added a new phone number.

click bank to add,

enter in information,

then automatically pulls a quick security check to verify with phone.

if you ever removed your phone number on profile, then added another one,
you will get that error message everytime quick security check pops,

the only way around this is call in and answer public database questions to prove identity and give them ssn and id, once they have
that information, they will do whatever you want.

Is that something that happened super recently? Because I added a new phone number when this happened to me back in November and was able to let it age for a few weeks and it worked. Just took some time but not a whole lot.

This post was started because they couldnt confirm it was me for a number that's been on the account for years. But I've had several other accounts where I've added a new number and let it age for around 3 weeks and then it will let me confirm the number after it's aged but initially yes, it won't let you. I'm really hoping they haven't changed this system since I last had to do that in November.

Today I try again with one issue paypal acc after 30days+
but the issue still there.

This happened to me on numerous accounts. I got the error message on PP accounts that had the following done;

- original number removed
- new mobile number added

Has anyone got a workaround to this? Calling in & answering questions is not an option for me because they're stealth accounts.

They will almost always now make you go threw the security questions. It’s much harder to do that nowadays
