Paypal negative balance

Hi, I have a negative balance of $300 on my limited PayPal account.

If I don't pay back, will they reverse transactions I made to others pay to recover the balance?

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Or will they only keep calling & emailing me to get me to pay the balance instead?

Is the account in your real details?
If so, they might send it to collections and it may affect the credit of that individual.

They might try and take money from any other funding sources you might have attached, such as bank.

nickopedia is correct - PP can try to withdraw amount from sources of payment on your pp account.

No, they aren't going to punish other merchants for your debt. Like everyone else has said, they'll first try charging your backup payment methods before sending your debt to a collections agency.

I'd pay up if I were you.

A customer opened a chargeback with their bank (I did copywriting and design for them)

I did fight it, but I lost, because it was opened with their bank, and not PayPal directly.

They are easy to win if they are opened with PayPal directly.

I'm assuming it would be better to take no chances and just pay it off.

They'd refer it to collections for $30. It's automated. They would rather get $200 from you (or whatever % the collection agency doesn't take) than nothing at all. In the $30 example they'd rather get $20 than nothing at all.

get a legal advice about how to fight the wrong debt may be lawyer can give good advice but sine the amout is low there is not much to worry about unless you add ssn in which they might effect your score rest everything is fine my stealth account is negative 800$ nothing happen

in most of cases they will not do anything. they just will close your account.
