tried to pay with stealth paypal on aliexpress, paypal now a little suspicious
 

Long story short, tried to pay with paypal with aliexpress, they get suspicious, asked for phone text verification, obviously that failed.

Now I try to buy something on eBay, it wouldn't work either, same text verification. I'm like, okay, fine, I know they're pretty lenient on paying eBay fees.

So, I tried to pay eBay fees, and same thing happened. Asking for text verification and it wouldn't work.

Question is, how long does it take for this message to go away? 72 hours on the dot after my first attempt?

There's no set time. You triggered tightened security with the attempted Aliexpress purchase. Might never go away. :noidea:

add a new active phone number just in case you need it in a few months.

just paypal security measure, it goes away after couple of days...it happens as a result of probably new changed ip or other.

What do you mean, did you not get the text?

Some of these do go away after a few days, though some are a little more sticky and need PP CS to get involved.

They asked for text verification, I said sure, and then when they tried, I got the message sorry, this cannot go through.
