Can i link non-us Paypal to a Bank of America account with different name?
 

hello friends I hope everything is fine for you, I need help, I advance that I looked for information in the forum about my doubt but they say so many things that I was confused.
I explain my question in detail: I am from Venezuela, I have a new Venezuelan account Ebay / Paypal that I have been selling for about 6 months, I checked the Paypal with a cc that I bought from a supplier and everything was fine.
I ask you: can I link this Venezuelan paypal to a friend's bank of America account to make constant withdrawals? Is there a problem with that? Paypal can see that the name of the bank account does not match the name in Paypal or there is no problem? I appreciate the guidance you can give me, thanks my good friends!

You cannot link a US based bank account to a non US paypal account.

This I think can be discussed, when I go to wallet in my Paypal account, and I click on link to bank account, a window opens that says "add your US bank account". I imagine that it gives me option to add a US account from my country because here there is no bank that can normally associate with Paypal and they know that, what do you think?

Link to a bank of America account with a different name than the Paypal account for constant cash withdrawals?

This is incorrect you can add any US bank aacount to any non-us paypal acount so yes you can add it and good luck

Technically you can link but it is getting very hard to do so on the website automatically like it was way back pre-2012 or so

Thanks friends, I would like someone who has successfully achieved what I want to try, tell their experience, and also ask for lights in my doubt if there will be problems if this bank account has a different name than PayPal, will deposit 2 small amounts to verify ? If so, when reversing those amounts does PayPal not get the real name in the BoA account?
If I try to link and the page does not take the data, will this bank account be burned? Sorry for the insistence, I do not want to step on quicksand, I appreciate the collaboration of all!

Southamerica most likley are US PAYPALS.. so yes you can link a USA Bank account

when you link a US bank account to a non-us paypal they don't do the micro deposits/withdrawals.

i have been using a non-us paypal linked to a us bank account since 2012. it's an aged pp account, opened in 2009 and have changed the us bank account several times over the last few years, but each time i had to call in to get help adding it.
