Is 1099 issued as soon as I give my SSN/EIN
When your PayPal is limited and you can no longer receive payments, and PayPal is requesting your SSN, do they send a 1099 form to you as soon as you submit the SSN? Or do they take your SSN, unlock your account, and then send you a 1099 if you meet their thresholds the next calendar year?
For example if my account got Tax ID limited in 2018 (no longer can receive payments), and then in 2019 I give them my SSN to unlock the account, will a 1099 be issued right away? Or will 2019 play out as usual under the 200/20k thresholds and until I cross those thresholds in 2019, no 1099 will be issued? |
