withdrwal to a closed/inactive bank account

i mistakenly made a withdrawal on my paypal account to a closed/inactive bank account. i want to know if the money would be reversed back or i need to contact paypal first??

The money will most likely be reversed back into your paypal account and the bank account will be removed from it.
Theres a small chance this will lead to a limitation as well - ive seen it happen before although this is usually not the case.

It would have bounced straight back, or at least here in UK on my account it did

The funds will bounce back, and sometimes the bank will be removed by PayPal. I had this happen a couple times and it didn't lead to a limitation but YMMV.
