Anyone else faced this?
 

I had PP account created on Aug 2018. After doing some sales ( around $350) they limited my account for unusual activity reason. They asked me to upload an ID only ( no other docs was requested like proof of shipping or invoices .... etc)


The strange thing is when I uploaded the Passport my account got restored immediately ( actually as soon as I refreshed the page). How come they restored my account without having any human review my account? Sounds weird to me.


Has anybody encountered this before? any ideas?

There is a limitation where the only doc they ask for is ID. As soon as you submit what they are asking for the limitation is automatically removed. This particular limitation is not being handled by a human.

Proceed cautiously on this account and try not to raise anymore red flags.

It's long been known that PayPal only manually reviews docs for a small number of limitations. The most routine requests are 100% automated and are merely filed on your account when certain milestones or triggers set.
