FEB. 1st & still tax limits haven't reset???

So I have been at this a few years and this is the longest it has taken for paypal to reset it's tax limitations at the beginning of the year. I have all 8 accounts that were tax limited last year still limited this year. Any idea whats taking so long on resetting this year or has paypal changed something?

Word is something changed and they may not get unlimited unless you provide tax info.

Well that would be a disaster

Pretty sure that is the issue, getting harder and harder.

At this point I would not count on them resetting if you were Tax ID limited.

The accounts that just got the warning but no limitation have had their limits reset, as in you can sell on them as if you have had 0 transactions for the new year.

But the accounts that were limited seem to be stuck there, and the possibility of that going away like in previous years seems unlikely at this point.

Damn, I guess my OG PayPal is done then... Had it for 4 years and it was perfect until they hit me with the Tax ID limit...

I'm going to hold on to the accounts a while longer. These are 100% feedback accounts that all the fees paid and everything. They were just sitting there waiting for the reset. My accounts with high negative feedback or with large fees to pay I just abandon but these 8 are my little gems. Can't part with them just yet.

Pretty sure tax id limited accounts are toast as of 2019. Paypal is evolving into an even douchier company.

They will not reset. I bit the dust and called about one and was told the Tax ID is now permanent and part of their new 2019 initiative. The accounts are toast.

PP sucks, IRS sucks, banks sucks. My w7 application was refused because the bank did not signed the verification letter. Hope the day Ayden starts to work with EB.

For the tax ID limit. Will they release the money after 180 days after the tax id limitation.

You can still withdraw money if you have the type of Tax ID limitation that is being discussed on the this thread. The one that happens based on the 200/20k threshold.

What sucks is that these 8 accounts I paid all my fees and refunded all my customers and kept bank accounts open. If I would have known I wouldn't have paid crap or refunded anyone and left ebay/:smash:paypal holding the bag.

This is horrible.

So the only way around this is a SSN TIN or EIN?? Correct??

Why not create a LLC/ S corp apply for an EIN?
