Paypal required SSN to be able to withdraw
 

HI, I have couple thousand of money in my Stealth Paypal balance.
It has been limited since Jan 2018 and now it is eligible to withdraw but i can't do that.
my bank account has been removed for unknown reason.
when i tried to add new bank account it doesn't let's me.
i called Paypal they told me i have to provide correct SSN to be able to add new bank.
Do you have any idea to get this one solve?

call paypal again and get a different person.......that person sounds like hes full of crap........never heard anything like that before.

This happened to me aswell actually. They demanded a picture of the ssn

Anyone ever tried to take Paypal to small claims court over this? I know on a limited account this might be sketchy but if the account wasn't limited you could change the details on the account to match your own?

.......I guess kiss your paypal account goodbye then.......

their basically saying they won't let you have the money unless you can prove you are who you say you are.

I guess since they are expecting every paypal account to have an ssn now,

that means if your paypal ever gets limited........they will expect you to send some ssn info also....

i have some paypals where they deliberately removed the bank account automatically when it gets limited.............they want to make it hard

blame all this on trump and the fvckin irs. Paypal is getting away with mvrder and so is mercari at this point.

first person ive seen here mention that. they are worse than PP and have no issues with unprofessionally telling you to go fck yourself over a few dollars. still have the email buried somewhere from 3+ years ago where they literally said sell here again and we will take your money and ignore any form of contact.

i have a limited paypal with $280 bucks inside of it can't add bank and card removed......i just abandoned that account 280 bucks down the drain......

Don't believe what PayPal tells you. They are full of crap about 60% of the time.

There is likely always a workaround.

isn't adding an active bank account from the start the only sure way to make sure you can withdraw?

enjoying the paypal phone call wait today 1 hour 17 minutes to approx 1 hour and 50 minutes...........

multi billion dollar company cheap skates cant even get the phone queue to drop to 10-15 minutes at the most.........

Call first thing in the morning and they will usually be shorter waits

why drop the phone queue..........everyday they make interest from the bank........they want to prolong removing limitations to take money out of accounts......

Just to clarify - the account has a SSN on file or not...
