Paypal claim it / shipping info! Must read asap!
 

Okay, so my account is on the “money is waiting for you” option which means i cant use it to spend on anything or send anywhere , just to my bank account only. But, heres the thing, when i go to print a label, it goes through and pays for it, but it doesnt come out of the paypal. It comes out of my checking that is linked to the paypal. Mind you, the paypal account is stealth with my checking attached to it. So do you think i will be linked since names mismatch? Anyone else have this issue where it comes from the checking/ bank account instead of the paypal balance?

Interesting. I cannot speak for shipping labels because I use a third party for shipping, but for paying my fees, they are coming from my actual PP balance.

I guess automatically deducting from the bank is better than just rejecting the payment. But if you are starting a new account and do not have a bank attached yet, that could be problematic.

For anyone who uses ebay for shipping labels you should check the paypal its coming from and click on the transaction and see exactly if its coming from your bank or paypal balance.

yes, that's what they're doing.

I've purchased products by paying with my bank account, no issues. It's ridiculous, but I've have to transfer money to my bank, and then pay by using my bank account instead of just paying with my PP!!!

Nonsensical, really. :(

Hey nodeal, what 3rd party are you using to ship? Is it more convenient than the ebay shipping? Do they also give discount off shipping like ebay does? Do you use a debit card to pay for the shipping? That would be best for me if so. Thanks

I have two credit cards in my real name attached to two different paypals and they charge those for shipping, been doing for 4-5 months without an issue.

Perfect, when you add the credit card / debit card do you have to put your name in or do they just ask for the details of the card with no name?
