Using stealth balance to make eBay purchase
 

Is it safe for the health of my eBay/PayPal stealth to purchase an item on eBay? I ask because the name and addy on the account are not nearly the same as the name and addy the eBay item would be shipped to.

Would this be a red flag to PayPal (buying an item and shipping it to different name/addy)? Not trying to get my account limited, especially through buying.

I have a stealth account with my real address that I use to purchase stuff on ebay all the time. If anything makes both accounts look stronger.

Yeah but the address that eBay/paypal has on file is 1500 miles from the addy I'll be shipping to. Name also would be different (although I could do the stealth name C/O my name).

In eBay you can have many shipping addresses. it's normal. For example, many people send gifts to other people.. How do they do that? They add new shipping address and specify the name and address of the person who will be receiving the item.

True. I just sent a gift to someone living in Moldova via eBay. I just changed it to the Moldova address for that purchase.

I bet WHAT you buy/ship has a lot to do with it, too... If you're buying socks and tooth brushes and daily use items it's a great way to get some FB and history, but if you're upgrading your iPhone or even buying smaller stuff in an electronics category it will get it looked at more closely. WHAT you buy/sell often has a huge effect on this type of thing.

Buyer feedback means nothing and won't reflect on seller trust level in eBay's eyes.

Not trying to build feedback, just trying to use balance since I don't want to accumulate too much in the account (lest it be limited) and I haven't got a bank at the moment to attach it to.

trey they didn't hit you with the "claim it" function? you sold without adding a bank?

Not yet. No bank. Account is from June though so 8 months old. I'm sure its coming.
